KT Sullivan

KT Sullivan (April 30 – May 2)   “Cabaret’s Crown Princess”, recently appeared at the Kennedy Center with Brian Stokes Mitchell in Broadway Today. Her shimmering soprano voice and interpretive skills make her one of the hardest working and most in demand singers in cabaret, appearing frequently at The Oak Room of New York’s Algonquin Hotel. KT has headlined at Carnegie Hall, Town Hall, Lincoln Center and The Caramoor Festival performing internationally at The Spoleto Festival and the Adelaide Festival in Australia. She has been a guest star on Garrison Keillor’s Prairie Home Companion, and has seven albums in worldwide distribution.

KT’s Broadway credits include The Three Penny Opera with Sting, the play Broadway directed by George Abbot, and Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She toured with Annie Get Your Gun and was featured in a workshop production of Easter Parade with Tommy Tune.   Liza Minnelli recently presented KT with the Manhattan Association of Cabarets’ Outstanding Female Vocalist Award.

Engagements in New York at the Algonquin’s Oak Room prompted Rex Reed to extol - “It is doubtful that any living performer loves the classical songs from the golden age of musicals as much as this fizzy blond bombshell.” And from The New Yorker -   "As vocally, comically and theatrically assured as contemporary cabaret performers get".
